VESA® and ASA Liaison agreement for eDP/DP Adaptation Layer for ASA Motion Link

By end of 2020, VESA and ASA signed a liaison agreement where VESA has agreed to provide ASA an access to eDP/DP Standards for a development of eDP/DP Adaptation Layer for ASA’s SerDes interface, ASA Motion Link. This collaboration will help to strengthen the focus on display protocol and especially will help to ensure a smooth translation into ASA’s Application Stream Encapsulation Protocol (ASEP).

Since eDP is one of the most important protocols to be used for In-vehicle display application, this step further exemplifies the automotive focus of ASA.
